Add mood lighting to this weekend’s evening backyard soiree with some Mason jars, LED lights, and coin cell batteries. The Evil Mad Scientists DIY site describes how to make your own temporary outdoor lighting with cheap supplies and easy assembly. Tape the LED cell to the battery to light it up, then mount that inside the jar top and set it out. This setup is temporary (and will burn out eventually if you don’t disassemble) but it looks like an easy way for even beginner do-it-yourselfers to light up a dark pathway without investing in a pricey outdoor system.

Fans of Knight Rider will definitely find this KITT, er, kit, for trucks to be a must-buy accessory, since it is able to turn a mundane pickup truck into one that emulates your childhood car computer idol (not that there were many to choose from in the first place, but you get the idea). While this kit won’t transform your pickup truck into a semi-intelligent lifeform overnight, it will surely add that cool factor to attract cowgirls at the local saloon.

This setup allows you to make high quality voice recoding on the go. In fact, it may be a great setup for anyone that needs to record voiceovers and doesn’t have a lot of space. This would be great to use while documenting your next project!
A decent laptop, an audio interface, and a microphone allow you to record and deliver voice tracks from almost anywhere. And with high-speed Internet readily available there’s no reason to miss sessions and auditions because you are on location or vacation, unless you choose to.

A pig has been born in China that slightly resembles a monkey. The ‘monkey-pig’ has two thin lips, a small nose and two big eyes. Its rear legs are also much longer than its forelegs, causing it to jump instead of walk. Link
